TouchStar Launches IP PBX Phone System for Remote Users and VoIP Communications

Denver, Colorado — June 23, 2007

TouchStar today announces its expansion outside of the call center industry with the availability of its new IP PBX phone system, to help businesses reduce expenses and increase productivity.

Companies are rapidly upgrading their traditional PBX phone systems to VoIP systems that are capable of operating over next generation voice and data integrated networks. Leading market research firms report that 74 percent of all corporate telephony lines will be IP-based by 2009. TouchStar’s IP PBX system is software based, which allows businesses to easily expand, upgrade, and maintain their system to grow with their business.

Steve Bederman, TouchStar’s CEO, stated: “TouchStar’s passion is providing our clients with world class services and products. This new offering is exciting because it opens up a much larger market for TouchStar products and services; any business in the world can benefit from using our multi-language IP PBX Phone System. TouchStar built its support services for the call center industry that can not have downtime so business phone users will be very satisfied with the world class customer service they will receive from TouchStar.”

A recent study estimates that a medium-sized company could cut costs by up to 52 percent a year over a traditional PBX system. The TouchStar IP PBX system allows cost savings by utilizing VoIP long distance services, VoIP connectivity between offices, and Remote User connectivity through VoIP.

The TouchStar IP PBX provides a rich feature set with classic PBX functionality, as well as advanced features like Recording, Monitoring, Conference Bridging, Call Queuing, and Intelligent ACD/IVR. The IP PBX Administrator Application allows the end user to make moves, adds, and changes with little or no involvement by IT or Telecom staff. Traditional phone lines no longer need to be installed or changed because the IP PBX utilizes a business’ existing computer network for voice.

TouchStar IP PBX will support a wide range of protocols for transmission of voice over traditional telephony as well as next generation voice and data integrated networks. Transparent switching will enable the use of diverse telephony systems in a single switching network.
