Five9 Brings Hosted Call Center to Dreamforce
Hosted call center provider, Five9, was in attendance for this year’s Dreamforce event, the nation’s premier cloud computing expo hosted by Salesforce.com. Five9 exhibited some of its latest hosted solutions designed to allow the call center to access utilities as they become necessary, while company officials shared some industry insight.
Five9 has built a strong reputation in the hosted call center space by providing customers with options to ensure their software is always up-to-date, while also eliminating the need for premise-based maintenance. As a Salesforce.com partner, Five9 leverages its presence in the market to deliver value solutions through the AppExchange.
One of the Five9 demonstrations at Dreamforce this year was the new Five9 Adapter for Salesforce.com. This new solution is designed to enable call center agents to leverage Five9’s cloud telephony interface from within the Salesforce.com user interface.
The Adapter leverages the Service Cloud Console from Salesforce.com, a user interface customized specifically for call center agents. The Console provides enhanced call reporting on all call activity within the Salesforce.com interface.
Five9 also demonstrated the Salesforce.com Campaign Sync capability, which allows campaigns within Salesforce.com to be dialed seamlessly with the Five9 cloud dialer. The Campaign Sync can be used along with the Adapter to ensure call center agents have what they need when handling inbound or outbound calls. This approach helps to maximize agent productivity while providing a unified few of all customer interactions.
In sharing company expertise, David Van Everen, VP of Product Management presented information about how easily call centers already using Salesforce.com can add Five9 solutions to extend the value of their centers.
